Un-Named Creek Stormwater Management

PROJECT BACKGROUND:
Canadian Consulting Engineers was retained by the Town of Drayton Valley to design and construction of Un-Named Creek Stormwater Management.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE:

The project’s objective was to manage stormwater in the River Ravine Area.

PROJECT CHALLENGES:

The key challenges were:
• Complex network of high pressure oil and gas pipelines and shallow utilities
• Approvals from the authorities

PROJECT Summary:

The project comprised on 2 CSP culverts of 600mm and 500mm diameters of various lengths, a stormceptor and approximately 240m2 Class 1 rip rap.
